Ro diye kyu?kho diye kyu?
Dhundhle see aasuo kee,
raah mai kho diye kyu?
Maana ki ho gayee
buto ko chaahne kee bhuul ek,
Malum tha jab elme hukumat,
lamho kee haqeequat par ro diye kyu?
Mana ki koi apnaa nahi hota yahaa,
Manaa ki koi sannata nahi khota yahaa,
rahaguzar ye raaste jaate kahaa ,ye dekhne,
Bheed kee waadi mai kyu ho liye ham.
Bahut pahle se yakee tha,
Phir rahe parchaaiyoo ka yakee le,
Laga koi rahtaa wahaa insaan ho,
Lagaa apna saa koi ek anjaan ho.
Apne wazood ko kyu usme talaasha,
Jo purvaaiyo ka ek zoor tha,
yakee na phir kar paayenge kabhi.
Kho gayaa wo apna nahi.
